We’re sharing info other web designers won’t. Your website should work for you, not against you.

We cover that, plus give you a quick test (4 yes or no questions) to see how your website is doing, plus a free resource to test your website speed.

Why Is Your Website so Important?

Your website is the face of your company and it’s always working for you (or working against you).

It’s responsible for your 1st or 2nd impression, so it’s critical it represents you accurately.

What does your website say about you?

What Makes a Great Website?

There are a few basic things that make a great website.

  1. Spacing
  2. Color
  3. Content

Once you get those things right you can spice it up a bit, but if your website lacks content that is helpful for your prospects then the design won’t matter much anyway.

Color is something that should be used to guide people in an intuitive way; same goes for spacing. Unintuitive spacing and color make for a poor user experience, which is how they will perceive working with you, so it’s critical you get it right.

Your content is the text and the images/graphics on your website. It needs to be well written for someone to understand and get the key information right away. If you confuse them, you lose them.

We could talk at length about this!

Is your website great?

Do You Need a New Website?

It’s not always top of mind to look at your website when you have a lot of other things to focus on, but it’s important to make sure it’s helping you.

Here’s a quick test to find out if you need a new website.

Bare Minimum Website Test 👇

📱 Does it work perfect on your phone? [Yes/No]

👉 Does it look like it was made before 2015? [Yes/No]

⏱ Does it load in under 1.5 seconds? [Yes/No]

🔍 Can people find the info they need? [Yes/No]

If you think any of these are a “No” then it would be best for your people if you considered a new website.

A new website would make your life and your peoples’ lives easier. We’ve helped others upgrade their website and can help you do the same. We can review it together.

Let’s Talk!

Make sure your website matches your brand.

Your Brand Matters

It matters a lot!

Your brand includes how you talk to your clients/patients/customers (your voice), your style, your colors, and so much more.

We can’t tell you how many times we’ve seen websites that don’t even have the same logo as the business cards.

The story you tell needs to make sense. If your business cards, other print material, website, social media, and emails don’t match, you’re telling everyone that you’re inconsistent. Is that alright with you? It’s not for us and for most of your clients/patients/customers.

Brand matters, but people need to be able to find you online.

Make Sure People Can Find You for Your Top Services

SEO is great when it’s working for you! Your website can be a tool for you to have your best clients/patients/customers find you for the services they need. This makes your website a sales tool!

There is plenty of confusion for SEO and what’s actually being done for you.

Some freelancers, marketing agencies, and sales people aren’t upfront with what they are actually doing for “SEO”.

If people can find you, make sure they don’t leave before the page even loads. Over 80% of people leave if the page takes 3 seconds to load.

Slow Websites Hurt You

Google’s search engine algorithm penalizes you for a slow website. Your website needs to be fast.

What’s important for making a website fast?

There are a number of factors but here is what can speed up your website!

Website hosting

Shared website hosting is cheap but comes at a big cost! (we host and maintain websites for our clients so they have their own private server that are fast and secure!)

Good design

It reduces the file size that needs to load while. It’s easy for DIY websites to be bloated causing long page load times.

Caching

This stores info in browsers (like images) so they don’t have to load each time a page is loaded.

CDN

CDNs (content delivery network) distribute your website in multiple locations so it’s loaded from a closer web server making it faster for the people on your website.
